メノルカ空港で即受け取り、レンタカー比較と予約情報。
Desks in one terminal
All MAH suppliers sit on Floor 0 of the single arrivals hall.
No-deposit options
About a third of cars in Spain come with no deposit hold at pickup - look for the "No deposit" badge.
Full insurance
Zero-excess cover available on most cars - nothing taken from the deposit if something happens.
Free cancellation
Cancel free on most bookings, often up to 48 hours before pickup.
The island is small and the roads are good, so pick by group size, not engine. Here is what comes off the desks at MAH.
Small & cheap
The most-rented group at MAH, easy to park at the coves and cheapest to run.
Automatic
In short supply on the island, so reserve before you fly rather than at the desk.
7-seater & van
For families and groups; these sell out first in July and August, so book early.
Luxury & convertible
Start the coast trip in something open-topped straight from arrivals.
Menorca Airport (MAH) sits about 4.5 km from Mahon and is the only airport on the island, so almost everyone who hires a car picks up here. Menorca has no train or subway network and the public transport is limited, so a car is the practical way to reach the coves and resorts.
MAH has a single passenger terminal that handles all flights. The rental desks of the leading companies are on the ground floor, and most close between 22:00 and 22:30. The desks sit in the arrivals hall between the two main entrances at the front of the building, and a few extra companies are out in the car park. The cars themselves are in the airport car park just across from the terminal entrance.
Suppliers at MAH
The exact desk or shuttle point for your booking is confirmed on your voucher - check it before you land.
Payment and deposit
When you book you pay only a small upfront amount - usually 15-20% of the hire cost. The rest is settled at the desk on pickup. The deposit in most cases is fully refundable, and about a third of cars in Spain are handed over with no deposit at all - those are marked in the results. If you only have a debit card, pick a no-deposit rate or a cash-deposit option: nothing gets frozen on your card.
You will need a full, valid driving licence plus a passport or identity card to collect the car. If you hold a UK licence, bring your DVLA check code too. Have your voucher and the booking card ready, and photograph any existing scratches before you drive off.
The desks can get busy as it is a tourist airport, so it helps to send the lead driver ahead to the counter while the rest of the group waits at the baggage carousel. Minimum age is generally 21, and most providers require you to be at least 21, with an extra fee for drivers under 25, so check before booking.
If your flight lands late, check the closing time on your supplier first, because most desks shut by about 22:30 in summer and earlier in winter. Out-of-hours service is available with some companies by request, for an extra charge, and you will need to give your flight number when you book.
The airport links to the main road network via the Me-14, which joins the Me-1, the island's primary road running from Mahon in the east to Ciutadella in the west. Mahon itself is under 10 minutes along the Me-14 and the Me-12. From there the whole island is within easy reach: Cala Galdana is around 40 minutes south, and Ciutadella about 45 minutes at the far western end.
There is a petrol station on the airport site with a car wash and some food and drink. Fuel up just before you return, follow the "car rental return" signs to your supplier's bay in the car park, and check the car for belongings before handing back the keys. Outside office hours there is a drop box for the keys, and some companies such as Avis allow 24-hour drop-off.
No low-emission zone to worry about
Menorca has no urban low-emission zone of the kind found in Madrid or Barcelona, so there is no access restriction on the drive out of MAH or into Mahon. A hire car picked up at the airport carries the standard DGT sticker in any case, so you can drive anywhere on the island without extra paperwork.
On Floor 0, in the single arrivals hall, between the two main entrances at the front of the terminal. Companies like Europcar, Avis, Enterprise, Goldcar and Sixt have desks there, with the cars in the car park opposite.
Record Go, OK Mobility and Centauro run a short free shuttle to an off-site office. Your voucher states the exact location.
Most desks close between 22:00 and 22:30 in summer and earlier in winter. If you land after that, check the closing time on your chosen supplier first.
Some offer out-of-hours pickup by request for an extra charge, and you will need to give your flight number when you book.
Yes. The Me-14 joins the Me-1, the island's main road. Mahon is under 10 minutes away, Cala Galdana around 40 minutes south, and Ciutadella about 45 minutes at the far west.
Roads are good and traffic is light outside peak summer hours.
A credit card is not always required - it is needed to hold the security deposit. At pickup the supplier freezes the deposit amount on the card: the money is not charged and is released when you return the car undamaged.
To avoid a hold, choose a full cover or no-deposit rate - then a debit card is usually fine and there is no pressure to buy extra cover at the desk.
The deposit is an amount the rental company holds as a guarantee for the car. Road fines or damage can be deducted from it.
If the car comes back without problems, the deposit is released in full. It is a temporary hold on your card, not a charge.
It depends on the car class and the supplier - you can see the exact amount on each car's card.
You can set a maximum deposit in the filter and the catalogue shows only matching offers. The lower you set it, the fewer cars remain.
Yes. To see cars with no deposit, use the «No deposit» filter option. There are also cars with a small deposit or cash payment.
Note that "no deposit" means no hold at pickup, not no booking payment - a small upfront amount is still taken when you book. If nothing suits, contact our support team.
The deposit is the amount frozen on your card at pickup and released when you return the car undamaged.
The excess is the part of any damage you pay yourself even with insurance - anything above it is covered by the insurer.
In practice, damage is taken from the deposit up to the excess, so the deposit is often set to match it. A full, zero-excess policy removes both: you do not pay for damage and the hold is usually waived.
Cover comes in levels:
You see the available rates on each car's card when booking.
If you would rather not depend on the deposit and excess, choose the full rate.
Yes, some cars can be paid in cash - use the «Cash» filter option.
You pay a small upfront amount by debit or credit card when booking (usually 15-20% of the total), and the rest in cash at pickup in the terminal.
Yes, paying for the car with cryptocurrency is possible - contact our support team to arrange it.
Yes. In the search, set a pick-up and a drop-off point - for example collect at MAH and return in Ciutadella or Cala Galdana.
By default the car is returned to the same place you collected it.
Most are manual, as across the Balearics. Automatics and 7-seaters are in short supply on the island and sell out first, especially in July and August, so reserve before you fly rather than relying on what is left at the desk.
You need a passport, a driving licence and the rental voucher - the voucher can be shown on your phone or tablet.
It states the final price with your chosen options and insurance, so the amount due at the desk will not change.
To hire through our rental companies you need at least 2 years of driving experience.
