Oliva is a coastal town in the Valencia region, sitting between Gandia to the north and Dénia to the south at the northern edge of the Costa Blanca. The town has two distinct parts — the historic inland centre with its castle remains and a Baroque church, and the beach resort of Oliva Nova 3 kilometres away with a long straight stretch of fine sandy beach that is considerably less crowded than the major resorts. Oliva is also a major citrus-producing area, and the surrounding orange and tangerine groves add a distinctive Mediterranean character to drives in the hinterland. Valencia is 80 kilometres north.
Credit card or deposit
Most rentals require a credit card for the security hold. Debit cards are accepted on no-deposit rates — select that option when searching on the site.
