Meloneras is an upscale resort on the southwest tip of Gran Canaria, adjacent to the iconic Maspalomas dunes and lighthouse. The seafront promenade connects luxury hotels, high-end restaurants, and the Casino Gran Canaria. The atmosphere is quieter and more refined than neighbouring Playa del Inglés, with the dunes and beach in easy walking distance. Gran Canaria Airport is about 40 minutes north on the GC-1.
