Bahia Feliz is a small beach resort on the east coast of Gran Canaria, between the airport and the southern resorts of Maspalomas. The area is well-known among windsurfers and kitesurfers, drawn by the consistent trade winds and the sheltered sands of Playa de Tarajalillo. The pace is relaxed compared to the busy south coast, yet Maspalomas is just 15 minutes away. Gran Canaria Airport is about 25 minutes north on the GC-1 motorway.

The GC-1 motorway connects Bahia Feliz to Gran Canaria Airport in 25 minutes and Maspalomas in 15 minutes. The GC-3 road inland toward Agüimes is scenic and lightly trafficked. Petrol stations on the GC-1; limited options in the resort itself.
