L'Alfas del Pi is a residential municipality between Altea and Benidorm on the northern Costa Blanca, popular with Scandinavian, Dutch, and British expatriates and retirees who appreciate its quiet character and access to the coast. The town sits just inland of the beach of Cala de l'Albir and the protected natural headland of Punta de l'Albir, where a lighthouse trail offers spectacular coastal views. A car is essential here — the town centre, the Albir seafront, and the surrounding resorts all require short drives. Alicante Airport is about 50 minutes south.

Parking throughout L'Alfas del Pi and Albir is predominantly free on residential streets and car parks. The beachfront Albir area has some paid bays in the peak summer months. The lighthouse car park at Punta de l'Albir fills up at weekends.
The AP-7 junction at Altea is 10 minutes east, connecting to Alicante in 40 minutes south and Valencia in 70 minutes north. Altea's old town is 5 minutes. Benidorm is 10 minutes south. Calpe is 20 minutes north. Petrol stations on the N-332 and AP-7.
