Tenerife North Airport (TFN), also known as Los Rodeos, is located near La Laguna in the northeast of the island. It serves inter-island routes and some mainland Spanish and European flights. It is the closest airport to Santa Cruz de Tenerife, La Laguna, the Anaga Rural Park, and the north coast. Car rental desks are in the arrivals hall. Note: most international charter flights use Tenerife South (TFS) — check your ticket before selecting a pick-up location.

Before you drive away, check
Short-stay and long-stay car parks are directly in front of the terminal building. Rates are displayed at the entrance barriers. Rental return areas are signposted within the airport perimeter — follow the car rental return signs from the exit road.
Santa Cruz de Tenerife is 12 minutes east on the TF-5. Puerto de la Cruz is 25 minutes west. The road south to Tenerife South Airport takes about 55–60 minutes via the TF-1. Mountain roads toward Teide from the north pass through spectacular scenery but can be foggy — the north coast is more prone to low cloud than the south. Petrol stations on the TF-5 access roads.
