Playa de Muro is a long, pristine beach on the north coast of Mallorca, backed by pine forest and dunes on the edge of the S'Albufera nature reserve. The beach is one of the most beautiful on the island — wide, clean, and far less developed than the southern resorts. Puerto de Alcudia and the walled town of Alcudia are about 10 minutes away. Palma Airport is approximately 60 minutes south via the Ma-13.

Before you drive away, check
A large free car park serves the main beach access off the Ma-12 road. Arrive early in July and August, as it fills by mid-morning. No paid zones at the beach itself.
The Ma-12 coastal road links Playa de Muro to Alcudia in 10 minutes and the Sa Pobla junction in 15 minutes. The Ma-13 motorway connects to Palma in about 55 minutes. Petrol stations in Muro town and in Puerto de Alcudia.
