Can Picafort sits in the centre of the Bay of Alcudia on the north coast of Mallorca, in the municipality of Santa Margalida. The resort is compact and walkable, with shops and restaurants lined along Paseo Colon down to the harbour, so you do not need a car for the beach itself.
Where car rental in Can Picafort earns its keep is the moment you want to leave the resort. The number 2 bus runs along the coast to Alcudia and Port de Pollenca, but it works to a timetable. A hire car lets you reach the inland villages, the Tramuntana mountains and the quieter coves on your own schedule.
