Badalona is a coastal city immediately north of Barcelona, sharing the metropolitan area but with its own distinct identity. Its seafront promenade and sandy beach give the city a relaxed character, while its position between Barcelona and the Costa Maresme makes it a practical base for both city trips and coastal drives north toward Mataró and Blanes.
